"Big Jet Plane" is a song written by Australian singer/songwriter Angus Stone, and originally recorded by Stone, under the name "Lady of the Sunshine", on his 2009 album ''Smoking Gun''. It was then re-recorded by Stone and his sister Julia, as the duo Angus & Julia Stone, and released on their 2010 album ''Down the Way'',〔(Lady of the Sunshine ) on MySpace; however the title "Big Jet Plane" is not mentioned on these web pages dedicated by Angus Stone to his personal production under this alias Lady of the Sunshine (one song is titled "Lady Sunshine"), most probably for legal or marketing reasons; in any case copyrights for both albums ''Down the Way'' and ''Smoking Gun'' are managed by the same company ((Nettwerk Records )).〕〔("Lady of the Sunshine" ) by FasterLouder.com.au (Australian blog dedicated to music) on 19 May 2009 (article about the genesis of the album ''Smoking Gun'')〕〔("Angus Stone Prepares to Release Lady of the Sunshine Album" ) by Crushable.com (Australian news web site) 30 March 2009〕 as well as their 2010 EP ''Big Jet Plane''. "Big Jet Plane" was named Australian Recording Industry Association's Single of the Year for 2010 at the ARIA Music Awards of 2010, while ''Down the Way'' was named Album of the Year. The song featured on both Nova 100 and Triple J radio playlists and after winning Single of the Year was added to the playlists of stations such as Fox FM in Melbourne. On 26 January 2011, the song was voted number 1 on the Triple J Hottest 100, 2010. The song has received a gold accreditation, having sold over 35,000 copies in Australia. It gained additional success, especially in Europe, when it was remixed in 2011 as a house track by Australian DJs Goodwill and Hook N Sling, under the title "Take You Higher". ==''Big Jet Plane'' EP== "Big Jet Plane" was recorded by Angus & Julia Stone and released by the duo in 2010 as part of an EP, also titled ''Big Jet Plane''. The EP includes four tracks. The album cover photography features a Trans Australian Airlines Convair CV-240 piston-powered airplane, as established from the identification characters "VH-TAP" located on the empennage's vertical stabilizer; this aircraft is itself not a jet plane. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Big Jet Plane」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
